Whatsapp keeps rolling out different features for its 1.5 billion active users. Now Facebook official Whatsapp has registered a new domain named after wa.me. According to WAbeta Info, this domain has a short link to api.whatsapp.com. It can be used to instantly open any chat in WhatsApp. To use this new update, users need to update their app in the Android 2.18.138 version.
How does updates work?
After updating WhatsApp, users need to type https://wa.me/ (phone number). This phone number will be for that person, with whom you want to make direct chatting. The URL will automatically take you to the chat window. Here you will be able to chat with the number entered in the URL as soon as the messaging is turned on. If the user enters a mobile number that is not registered on whatsapp, the URL will give the message “phone number shared via url is invalid” means the number shared via the URL is invalid.
Group Video Call and Stickers feature will be added to Whatsapp :Group Video Calling feature will be added to Whatsapp. This feature will be rolled out in the coming months. Stickers are also coming in whatsapp. This feature has been seen in the Android Beta version of the app.
