OMR system will be abolished in standard 10 and 12 exams
The OMR system is likely to get out of the standard 10 and 12 exams conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board.
The NCERT course will also be applied in the standard-10 and standard-12 science stream from 2019. Therefore, CBSE pattern will be applicable for students of standard 10 and 12 science exams in the year 2019. The main thing is that there are no OMR questions in board exams conducted by CBSE pattern. So if the CBSE pattern is applied then the examination system will also have to be changed.
Supporters of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Department have said that a detailed proposal has been submitted to the state education department in this regard. According to sources in the education department, the government is seriously considering this.
Soon the decision will be taken in this matter. So far, 50 marks OMR questions are being asked in the standard 10 and 12 exams and 50 questions are asked for extended questions, but in coming years, the CBSC pattern will be applicable in standard 10 and 12 science stream, it does not have an OMR system.
